Mark Labberton
Dr. Mark Labberton is the Lloyd John Ogilvie Associate Professor of Preaching and Director of the Lloyd John Ogilvie Institute of Preaching at Fuller Seminary.

He joined Fuller’s faculty in 2009 after 16 years of service as senior pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley, California.  He is a graduate of Whitman College (B.A), Fuller Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and Cambridge University (Ph.D.).  Dr. Labberton has been involved in ministry for over 30 years and has spoken before a broad range of audiences, including numerous conferences and events for the Presbyterian Church (USA), InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, the National Pastors Convention, and the International Justice Mission.   He is former chair and current board member of John Stott Ministries and a Senior Fellow of International Justice Mission.

Labberton published The Dangerous Act of Worship: Living God’s Call to Justice (2007), and in October 2010, InterVarsity Press will be releasing his next book, The Dangerous Act of Loving Your Neighbor:  Seeing Others Through the Heart of Jesus. He has published articles in periodicals such as Christianity Today, Radix, and Leadership Journal, the latter which he also serves as contributing editor.
